- GIGASUN bulbs are made to recreate an artificial sun. They give an important dose of UVB rays that help reptiles to synthesize calcium and also gives out some of the essential heat. Different levels of the power will allow you to use this bulb with different settings.
Be careful, a E27 ceramic socket is required to use these bulbs. Do not let animals reach the bulbs. We do not recommend connecting the bulb to a thermostat in order to prolong the use of it. Make sure that the enclosure is well ventilated. UVB rays emitted by the bulbs (via mercury vapor) have a limited lifespan. It is therefore advisable to change your bulb every 12 months to avoid causing any deficiencies to your animal
